OrgoCare
Orgocare is an organic transpiration Inhibitor, which reduces the perspiration rate and improves plant health. It is an anti-transpirant and anti-stress product that protects the plant tissues from the thermic effect of light. It acts as a protective shield against water loss, frost protector and plant stress regulator, without interfering with the plant growth or materially affecting respiration, osmosis or photosynthesis.
Science Behind Orgocare
Transpiration is the movement of water molecules from the plant into the air. Most water loss is through the stomata when they are open for photosynthesis. Photosynthesis requires CO2; in order to obtain it, stomata must open and the escape of water cannot be avoided.
Normally out of the total incidence sunlight on the phyllosphere 60% is reflected back, 8 to 10% is utilized by the plants for photosynthesis. Therefore the balance 30% leads to heating of leaf tissue resulting in the conversion of water to vapour in the intercellular space of spongy parenchyma. The water is lost as vapour through the stomata from the leaf to the atmosphere.
Thus Plant water loss occurs when plants are exposed to excessive sunlight or cold wind, which causes a significant amount of water absorbed from soil returning to the atmosphere via plant transpiration. This affects the potential metabolic process, which reduces plant food production and increases plant stress.

Why Orgocare ?
When Orgocare is sprayed on the leaves it increases the shine of the leaves. Therefore more than 70% of the light is reflected back. As greater quantum of light is reflected the quantum of light resulting in heating of leaf tissue is reduced. It also increases the chloroplast, resulting in efficient light utilization for Photosynthesis. Therefore the available light energy to be converted into heat energy is reduced. This results in reduced transpiration in the leaves. All the cells remain turgid including guard cells of stomata. This facilitates greater gaseous exchange leading to greater photosynthesis.
Orgocare is the ideal product for inhibiting such as excessive transpiration. Orgocare, when applied, becomes a transparent and flexible coating on the leaves, foliage, and stems of the plant. This coating prevents excessive water loss but at the same time retains the plant’s ability to uptake and release gasses.
Mode of Action
1. Acts on the elongation of spongy parenchyma cells and reducing the parenchyma cells and reducing the intercellular spaces.
2. By its shining appearance on the leaves it reflects more light against less amount in normal reflection.

Science Behind Transpiration
Plants prepare their own food using simple compound inorganic sources such as co2, water along with some raw materials like soil, nitrogen, phosphorus and other minerals to build their bodies. The plants absorb raw materials from soil with help of roots which are in contact with the soil.
Plants need water, mineral salts and raw materials for photosynthesis in order to survive. Photosynthesis prepared in the leaves are to be transported to the other parts of plants. This can be transported by the food - carrying tubes, also known as phloem.
In xylem vessels and tracheids of the root system and leaves are interconnected to facilitate continuous water conduction system to all of the plant. The water transports upwards against the force of gravity with the help of xylem vessels.
Evaporation of water molecules from stomata of leaves into the atmosphere. The loss of water molecules of evaporation through leaves creates suction or root pressure pulls water upwards through xylem cells of the root. Sucrose is transferred into phloem by using ATP molecules which leads to increase the osmotic pressure of the tissues.

Application Rate
To protect plants from drought and frost, Mix 2 - 3ml / liters of water and apply at an interval of 3 - 4 weeks to all crops during the summer / winter period.
Spray (0.3%) during pre - flowering, fruit setting and 10 days before harvest to reduce flower and bud drops and to improve fruit setting and shelf life.
