Ecoza is an Organic Insecticide, Miticide, Insect Growth Regulator and Nematicide. The active ingredient in Ecoza - Azadirachtin, is a natural limonoid extracted from the seeds of the tropical Neem tree. Azadirachtin based pesticides are versatile, easily biodegradable, leaving no toxic residues and there by keeping the environment clean and safe. This natural compound acts as a powerful insect growth regulator, antifeedant and repellent that provides effective control of many insect pests.
Ecoza inhibits the production of the key molting hormone, ecdysone. In the absence of ecdysone, insects are unable to properly molt / pupate, leading to death. It effectively controls about 400 insect species such as mites, whiteflies, fungus gnats, leafminers, thrips, soil nematodes, aphids, lepidopteran species and several others termites and fungi. It also has some ectoparasitic properties as well.
