NitroMask
The Smart Choice in Urea Coating !
NitroMask is an urea coating agent containing high quantities of Triterpenes and neem limonoids. Plants need a continuous availability of nitrogen at various stages for proper growth. Urea contains the highest amount of nitrogen among all in organic nitrogenous fertilizers. The nitrifying bacteria Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas in the soil turns the nitrogen into nitrite, by which 50% of nitrogen provided by urea is lost. Nitromask, with its denitrifying properties, prevents the leaching of nitrogen from urea. Use of Nitro Mask retards the activity and the growth of the bacteria responsible for nitrification, reducing the nitrogen emission. It is an effective Insecticide, Miticide and Nematicide which is used to control a large number of pests such as caterpillars, beetles, nematodes, leafhoppers, borer, mites etc.
Why NitroMask ?
NitroMask keeps more nitrogen in the soil for plant uptake and limits N-loss to the atmosphere.
This special coating slows down the conversion of nitrogen in urea, to ammonia gas (Ammonia volatilisation) which is then lost to the atmosphere as a greenhouse gas. By slowing this process, Nitromask keeps more nitrogen in the soil for plant uptake and reduces the impact on the environment. It also provides farmers more options for nitrogen fertiliser application throughout summer.

Application Rate and Method
The Neem bitters present in NitroMask inhibit nitrification of urea, resulting in prolonged release of nitrogen to the plant after application to the soil.
When urea is coated with Nitro Mask, a thin golden yellow colour forms and prevents nitrogen loss by leaching, ammonia volatilization and denitrification and thus reduces the fertilizer consumption by about 25%.
Nitro Mask contains enriched neem bitters which have excellent pesticidal properties also. Nitro Mask coated urea when applied in the rice fields, the neem bitters form a thin layer on the surface of the water thereby repels hoppers and other insects.
